ABOUT Arrowhead Martial Arts & Fitness:

Martial Arts have changed my life by making me a stronger, more focused person. Initially I started training for fitness but quickly became a student of the art. Master Belinda Hathaway taught ITF style Taekwon-Do but also drew upon her knowledge of Arnis, Krav Maga, sporte Karate, and Jujitsu. I have also trained in Judo. The two arts compliment each other especially in self-defense techniques.

The benefits Taekwon-do and martial arts are many. Each individual receives benefits that are essential to them. They can include fitness, learning new skills, discipline, or the satisfaction of attaining a goal. However, it is common for all students to receive a balance of mind and spirit, excellent physical fitness, increased confidence and self esteem, and overall acceptance of self and others. Martial arts and self-defense are especially important to young women to build confidence and "muscle memory" to react in potentially dangerous situations.

Located in the Northwest corner of Vermont, Arrowhead Martial Arts and Fitness prides themselves on producing martial artists who are well balanced individuals. We also focus on the family atmosphere by offering classes where the whole family can train together.
