April Pettengill, Owner, 3rd degree Black Belt
Mrs. Pettengill started taking Judo in college in the 1980s.  After taking a hiatus from martial arts, she started training in ITF Tae Kwon Do after signing her children up for classes in the early 2000's. 
 
Mrs. Pettengill purchased American Martial Arts and Fitness in January 2012 and renamed it Arrowhead Martial Arts and Fitness.  She is continuing her TKD training and also training in Krav Maga.
 
Outside of TKD, Mrs. Pettengill is a nurse and works as a consultant for people with catastrophic injuries and illnesses.  She is married with two teenaged boys.  She lives in Georgia.
 
 
Belinda Hathaway, 4th Degree Black Belt
Master Hathaway is a 4th degree Black Belt who has been studying Tae Kwon Do for over 15 years.  She has crossed trained in Arnis, Hapkido, Brazilian Jujitsu, Kempo and Sport karate.  She has been involved in Model Mugging and Kidpower programs.  Master Hathaway continues to be involved in training and advising the students at Arrowhead Martial Arts.
 
 
 
Master Laura Williams, 5th Degree Black Belt
Master Williams started training in WTF Style TKD in 1987 with Master Bruce Twing (considered to be the father to TKD in Vermont).  She studied with Randy Rotta in Randolph for 18 years.  In 1992, Master Williams trained with Master Rick Dunlavey where she learned ITF style TKD.  In 2007, Master Williams begin training with Arthur Makaris in Essex Junction, VT in Chinese Martial Arts and Kung Fu.  She continues to train in Praying Mantis style Kung Fu. 
 
Master Williams is married with two boys and works at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center as an LNA in the hematology/oncology department.  She is extremely active outside of work an training with hobbies including kayaking, snowshoeing, hiking, weight lifting, and home brewing. 
 

Master Meg Manning, 4th Degree
Master Manning has been training in TKD since she was 10 years old.  She took a brief hiatus to attend Norwich University.  Master Manning currently works at Williamstown High School teaching Mathematics.
